Now he's been well and truely stolen by Hollywood, Russian director of the Night Watch films, Timur Bekmambetov, is set to produce a spec script about the Knights Templar picked up by Universal.
Fresh from directing his first Hollywood blockbuster, Wanted, Bekmambetov is at the head of an impressive creative team from Universal's think tank.
The story will tell the tale of a band of Knights Templar returning from the crusades who must fight off an army of attacking vampires. Easy to see how Bekmambetov was brought on board, eh?               |
