Marvel has a perfect heroic counterpart for the Council of Kangs

The Avengers: Kang Dynasty It will feature the Council of Kangs’ long-awaited battle with the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who may need a similar organization to defeat their newest foe. As the multiverse saga begins to pick up speed toward its two-part finale, the threat that Kang the Conqueror and his many variants pose to the fabric of the multiverse becomes all too clear. While the combined intelligence, strength, and knowledge of the Kang’s endless variants is the biggest threat MCU heroes have ever faced, the franchise is already creating a heroic counterpart to the Council of Kangs that might save the day.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaIt introduced the end credit scenes of the Council of Kangs, a collection of different variants of Kang the Conqueror from multiple alternate realities. Among the members of this group were Immortus, Pharaoh Rama-Tut, and Commander Vermilion, all portrayed by Jonathan Majors. Concerned about the Avengers’ recent rise to power, Immortus summons every variant of Kang from across the Multiverse to the Other Council Square, signaling that a new dynasty is about to begin. Starting with stage 5 and stage 6 up Kang DynastyHowever, these variants and the Kang Council itself would surely pose a formidable threat to the Earth-616 heroes.

The Reed Council is the best way to defeat the many variants of Kang

With the Council of Kang wreaking havoc in the MCU, the only real way to combat this new threat is through the Interdimensional Council of Reeds. Much like the Council of Kang, this group consists of multiverse variants from multiple realities, except for a more heroic goal. This Charity Council is made up of different versions of the Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic. The group comes together in order to share the vast knowledge of each variable with other universes and to address cosmic threats as one unified body. In Marvel Comics, the group even manages to neutralize the Infinity Gauntlet threat.

Although some heroes may be able to defeat Kang’s solo variants, with Ant-Man potentially killing Kang the Conqueror in as a commaniaHowever, the combined power of the Kang Council is too dangerous for even the Avengers to overcome. Multiverse villains like these can only be defeated through multiverse means. As such, only Reed Richards has the intelligence, resourcefulness, and skill needed in each universe that can put an end to Kang’s ongoing problem in the multiverse. Lacking the same selfishness and distrust that plagued the Kang variants, the Reed Council is the best chance to defeat the Kang Council in the epic multiverse.

The Reed Council can display the familiar variants of Mr. Fantastic

Ewan Grafford, John Krasinski, and Mile Teller as adorable variants of Reed Richards

One of the more exciting possibilities for the Council of Reeds debuting in the MCU is the possibility that it will include the familiar Reed Richards variants into its ranks. While the MCU’s Fantastic Four haven’t debuted yet, it’s very likely that a variant of Reed Richards from Earth-616 will become a member of the Council of Reds. This version of Mister Fantastic will have a chance to make an impression in 2025 Fantastic Four Movie and maybe even in small roles in other pre-Phase 6 films Kang Dynasty And Secret warswhich are the two projects most likely to include the multidimensional board of reeds.

Earth-616’s Reed Richards won’t be the only familiar face among the MCU’s Council of Reeds. Other incarnations of the character could certainly appear here as well. John Krasinski’s Reed Richards could still return, for example, despite reports to the contrary. Even if Krasinski doesn’t end up portraying the MCU’s Reed Richards, he could still return as a reanimated version of his Earth-838 persona or simply as another variant from an entirely different universe. His presence on the Reed Council would certainly be welcome, especially after his time where the character was tragically cut short during the events of the series Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Reeds’ interdimensional council also provides an opportunity for Marvel Studios to revisit some of the character’s non-MCU incarnations. As the culmination of the multiverse saga, Secret wars It will feature other Marvel franchises based outside of Earth-616, including 20th Century Fox’s popular renditions of the Fantastic Four. This would allow Miles Teller and Ioan Gruffud to return as their own versions of Reed Richards, finally giving them the chance to prove their worth after both failed in their respective franchises. Even Alex Hyde White, 1994’s unreleased Mr. Fantastic Fantastic Four movie, he has a chance to return to his own long-awaited movie.

As if the prospect of every former Mister Fantastic actor returning wasn’t exciting enough, the Council of Reeds is also allowing the MCU to acknowledge several fan Fantastic Four actors that will never come to fruition. Reed Richards alone has countless actors lined up to portray him, including major names like Glenn Howerton, Penn Badgley, Henry Cavill, Dev Patel, and more, leaving plenty of room for one or all of them to make a cameo in The Reed Council. scene in Secret wars. With the multiverse breaking through Phases 5 and 6 of the MCU, the possibilities for Reed Richards’ multiple variants are truly endless.

How can Reed Richards and his followers defeat the Kang Council

Character Council Kang Rama Tut Immortal Victor in Time and Kang the Conqueror

The Council of Reds is still the best chance of defeating Kang the Conqueror and his variants, who are very hard to kill. However, Kang the Conqueror’s Quantum Realm Exile, as seen in as a commania, may provide a way to defeat the Kangxi Council. As the smartest man alive, Reed Richards certainly looked to history to see what worked against his new foes in the past. One of Kang’s most dangerous variants was powerless to escape his exile in the Quantum Realm, suggesting that others would be similarly helpless if they were to suffer a similar fate. So the reed board may choose to use this same strategy.

It’s also important to note Reed Richards’ connection to Kang the Conqueror, which no other Marvel hero shares. In Marvel Comics, Kang was actually Nathaniel Richards, a scientist from the 31st century and a direct descendant of Reed Richards’ father, who also happened to be called Nathaniel. Given their connection to the Kang, the Reed Council may be able to deduce the location of the original Nathaniel Richards variant in the timeline and trim its existence before it ever discovers the ability to traverse the multiverse. This might be the only way to defeat an ever-present enemy in the timeline like Council of Kang.

When the Reed Council could appear in the MCU

The Council of Reds seems inevitable in the MCU, but the timing of its appearance remains a mystery. It seems unlikely that the group will show up early The Magnificent Four, despite Kang’s possible appearance in it. The MCU will likely spend the Phase 6 movie creating its canonical version of the Fantastic Four rather than muddying the story with a myriad of variants. As such, the Council of Reeds won’t appear before 2025, but will likely have to wait until the end of Phase 6 to make their first live-action appearance in the MCU.

It’s very likely that the MCU will hold off on introducing Council of Reeds until a major event movie like this is out Kang Dynasty or Secret wars. While the former seemed likely at first, screenwriter Jeff Loveness’ recent comments suggest that the Fantastic Four may not appear in the fifth. The Avengers movie at all. as, Secret wars May add to her massive cast in order to include the Reed Council as the ultimate counterpart to Kang the Conqueror and his malevolent variants. Thus, The Avengers: Kang Dynasty It would certainly depict the utter carnage caused by the Kangxi Council in anticipation Secret wars Hidden weapon.
